Election Information


The 2024 General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 5. Here are some more important dates to keep in mind:

  • September 6: Secretary of State must certify the content of the statewide ballot

  • September 21: Deadline for sending out ballots to military and overseas voters

  • October 4: Deadline to mail out TABOR notice booklets

  • October 14: Ballots will be mailed out locally

  • October 21: In-person voting opens at Voter Service and Polling Centers

  • October 30: Too late to mail ballots, must drop off in person to a ballot box

  • November 5: Election Day and the last day to vote (by 7:00 p.m.)

24-Hour Drop-off Locations

Drop boxes open the day that ballots mail out locally and they are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week until 7:00pm on the last day to vote. Jeffco has 37 ballot boxes throughout the county to make dropping off your ballot easier than ever!

Early Voter Service & Polling Centers

Voter Service and Polling Centers are places you can vote in-person, register to vote or update your voter registration, replace a ballot or drop off your ballot, and/or use an ADA-accessible voting machine.
