On October 10, from 2-4 pm at the Apex Community Center (6842 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada), the Jefferson County Council on Aging will host a Candidate Forum featuring candidates serving
all or part of Jefferson County. This includes U.S. House of Representatives (CD 6 and 7), various state senate and house districts, county commissioners and county sheriff.

Candidates will be given four minutes to address the audience, and they have been asked to emphasize their accomplishments and plans with a special focus for seniors, including topics such as affordable and accessible housing, independence, healthcare, safety, food availability, transportation, poverty, tax relief or social isolation.

As past forums have had time challenges, speaking time limits will be strictly enforced and questions may only be addressed at the back of the meeting room at the question table.
